Christopher Robert Evans, born June 13, 1981, is an American actress. His acting career started with TV performances, such as Opposite Sext in 2000. After appearances in a variety of teen films including 2001's Not Another Teen Movie he was noticed for his performance of the Marvel Comics characters such as the Human Torch in 2005's Fantastic Four and the sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans made further appearances in film adaptations of comic books as well as graphic novels, including TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim against. the World (2010) as well as Snowpiercer (2013). As part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he gained more recognition for his role as Steve Rogers/Captain American. The films included Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier 2014 and Captain America: Civil War. He also was on The Avengers Age of Ultron 2015 Avengers: Infinity War 2018 and Endgame 2019. In the Marvel universe, his character as Steve Rogers / Captain America earned him the title of most highly paid actor in the world.
